Current Needs
There are many ways you can get involved!
Lone Tree Camps has literally been built on God’s provision. We have seen the Lord provide by way of financial gifts, volunteers, and donated equipment and materials. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible. We strive towards being good stewards with our finances, time, and work ethic. Perhaps you have been blessed during your stay at Lone Tree in the past, or feel God is calling you to be involved in our ministry through a financial or material gift. Here is an opportunity to give back to the camp and be involved in our ministry. Please continue to pray for our ministry and our staff. You can see our current needs listed below.
Staff Support
Our full time staff are asked to raise 50% of their salary and our summer staff to raise 100% of their pay to keep the cost down for our campers. Please keep in mind that our full time staff and summer staff need monthly supporters or one time gifts.
Monthly Support
We currently are raising a good portion of our operation budget. This helps continue to keep the cost of camp down for our guests. Since we are a non-denominational camp, we do not have any financial backing from any particular denomination or organization.
Volunteers
Whether you are skilled or not we could always use some help. We love church groups that are willing to take a weekend or a day trip and bring down a crew. With volunteer groups we are able to knock out big projects and many other things that need done at our camps. Call us to volunteer today!
Other Needs
- People to adopt horses mid-November to mid-March.
- Volunteer to restore 1950’s firetruck for parades and promotions.
- Financial Donations towards the Zip Line Project
- 4 Wheel Drive Heavy Duty Pickup to haul equipment and horses.
- Couches and Chairs for Various Meeting Rooms
Volunteer Groups!
We are always in need of volunteers at our camps. Whether you are one person or a group we could use you. Get together with your group at church and find a day that works for you and DONATE A DAY! If you have specific skills that you think can help with, we would love to hear from you. There are always projects to be done at all of our camps. Every year we do our best to update lodging, dining, activities, and camp as a whole. The only way that this is possible is through individuals and groups making an effort to help build our ministry by donating their time and talents. Email us today and see how you can help!
Horse Program
Adopt A Horse
We try to find a good home for most of our horses during the winter. Helps us keep our feed bill down and potentially get some rides in in our off season for the horses. If you would be interested in taking a horse for the winter, please give us a call anytime!
Donate Feed
Our horse program is one of our most popular activities. To keep all the horses well fed and ready to go it takes quite a bit of feed. It is a huge help and a major blessing when we get feed donations!
Donate Tack
Running a horse program for kids and sometimes not experienced riders means our tack doesn’t always last as long as we would like. We are always in need of tack and saddles.
