Dining Hall

Our dining hall is located downstairs in our main lodge. We understand that the food on a retreat or summer week can make or break your experience! We strive hard to have excellent food at camp in both the variety of the meals we offer and the atmosphere.
All our meals are served family style with 8 to 10 people at each table. Busy schedules for students and adults don’t allow people to sit and have a meal together as often as they used to. We are surprised every year at the comments we get from leaders and students about being able to sit down
and enjoy a family style meal.
We offer a salad bar at every lunch and dinner. Hot soup is offered at lunch and keep the coffee, hot tea, and other hot drinks out from early morning to early evening. Enjoy some coffee with a buddy in our dining hall.
Men’s and Women’s retreats can rest assured that the menus we serve reflect the age group of the guests we are serving.
Special Dietary Needs
Our kitchen and food service is a pride for our camp. Any special dietary needs your group may have can be communicated during your 30 day call in. Although we strive to meet your group’s needs, we are not a made to order kitchen like a restaurant. We order food one week in advance and due to our remote location, we cannot run down to the local store to pick something up. Any extreme dietary needs that cannot be met by our salad bar or food service (i.e. individually prepared meals) should be met by that particular individual and they should plan on eating in a family style setting during their stay at the Ranch.
We have found that people who have diabetic needs, gluten allergies, dairy allergies,  or are on strict protein diets can meet  their own needs by our salad bar and by bringing protein drinks and snacks. Please note that  due to our high standards of cleanliness, New Mexico Environment Health Department  Standards, and busy food service schedule, guests are not permitted in the kitchen to prepare their own food. We do have a refridgerator and microwave available 24 hours a day in our dining hall to help accomodate any special dietary needs.
